The extension can only export contacts currently available to your WhatsApp Web session. Contacts without a usable phone number are skipped, and duplicate phone numbers are merged automatically. Group membership visibility and available profile details may also depend on WhatsApp and your access to that group.
Yes. Contact extraction and file generation happen locally in your browser, and exported files are saved directly to your computer. Your extracted WhatsApp contacts are not uploaded to our servers, and we do not collect, store, or sell your contact lists. Your data stays under your control.
